Hello there! I’m so glad you stopped by. Pretty Pies is all about healthy desserts made with real ingredients. Pretty on the outside, yes. But what really matters is what’s beneath the surface. Let me show you how easy it is to make wholesome, scrumptious (and beautiful) desserts from whole foods!

Unlike typical desserts, these recipes are free from:

  • refined sugar
  • dairy
  • gluten/wheat
  • soy

and almost all are free from:

  • grains
  • eggs
  • legumes

I use unconventional (but natural) ingredients to create tasty treats that you can feel good about 🙂

My name is Emily. (Nice to meet you!) I really like food. Especially pretty food. And eating is my favorite hobby, haha.

I am a firm believer in nourishing your body REAL food. Nothing processed or factory-formed. Natural fruits, veggies, and nuts the way God made them.


Who am I? A recipe creator, mom of 2 young kids, and wife living my dream in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. I’m a coffee lover, bargain hunter, purple obsessed, forgiven child of God.

When I’m not creating new desserts, I’m probably still in my kitchen … cooking food, eating food, or taking pictures of food, ha! I also work as a graphic designer. I love finding and creating beauty all around me – in design, in food, and in life. I love spending time at home with my family– my happy place!
