Easy Orange Cake Balls {Keto, Vegan, Paleo}

No-bake cake balls bursting with orange cake flavor, but made healthy! Breakfast or dessert? You decide :)

  • Heaping 2/3 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup coconut flour + more for rolling
  • Zest of 2 navel oranges
  • 1/4 cup orange¬†juice
  • 35 drops Sweetleaf vanilla creme stevia to taste
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of pink salt


  • Stir together all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
  • Adjust if needed -- If too dry, add a splash of orange juice or a drizzle of avocado oil. If too wet, add a sprinkle of coconut flour. Sweeten to taste.
  • Make balls with a small cookie scoop. Use the palms of your hands to squeeze them smooth and into shape.
  • Lightly roll each ball in a small bowl of coconut flour (about 1-2 Tbs). Optional - freeze or chill for 10 minutes to firm up, if desired. ENJOY :)


What I used: these stevia drops coconut flour, microplane and cookie scoop
To make homemade almond butter, blend 1 1/2 cups dry roasted almonds in a food processor for about 5 minutes until liquefied.
Store tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 10 days or frozen for 4-6 weeks. (They're great frozen, too!)
