Let's be honest here. This book is not for:
- People who don't like sweets (this cookbook is only desserts/treats/sweets.)
- People who aren't into healthy eating.
- People who are allergic to coconut and/or nuts.
- All of these recipes contain either nuts OR coconut. 20% of the recipes are nut-free (coconut only).
"Are these recipes difficult to make?"
No! You don't have to be a baking expert. These simple, straightforward recipes are a cinch to make.
No complicated techniques. No unconventional equipment. The tools you'll need are pretty basic: blender, hand mixer, food processor and oven.
"What sweeteners do you use?"

Out of interest, is it easy to substitute one kind of but for another in many of the recipients? We have a peanut and almond allergy in our house!

Peanuts, yes that’s an easy sub. You can replace it with any other nut or seed butter that you like. Sunbutter and cashew butter are my top recommendations.
Almonds are a little trickier since they’re used in different forms:
Almond butter - easy swap for another nut/seed butter.
Almonds in a no-bake crust - easy swap for any other nut/seed.
Blanched soaked Almonds as cream - you can substitute cashews or macadamia nuts.
Almond flour for baking — I haven’t found a perfect/exact replacement. However, any other nut or seed flour will lend a similar result. You can make your own nut flours using a food processor. Or get them online or at specialty stores.
